Job details
We are looking for a Food Safety & Hygiene Officer who will help the company implement food handling and sanitation standards in the kitchen and food service areas in line with the Dubai Municipality Food Code HACCP & FSMS policies and standards. Candidate with expertise and right knowledge to evaluate compliance, measure hazards, risks, recommends corrective action and guides in implementing new policies and procedures to help improve the food safety standards in the company.
Job Responsibility:
· Investigate food safety related matters to determine root cause and advise on methods for prevention or recurrence.
· Conduct internal food hygiene audits and recommends corrective action when necessary.
· Monitors production lines from the receiving to delivery.
· Inspect and supervise workplaces to ensure that raw materials protected from unsafe condition.
· Inspect work space and machineries to ensure the food safety and sanitation.
· Maintains FSMS documentations.
· Plans, conducts and monitors food safety training programs.
· Conduct production and premise inspections and audits to ensure compliance in food safety and hygiene standards.
· Ensure that all food is handled, prepared, stored and transported in satisfactory manner.
· Conduct checks and hygiene audits on all food items, storage and preparation areas.
· Contact pest control company for any pest issues in the operation areas and review pest control performance.
· Investigate customer complaints, production mishaps and other food safety related concerns.
· Coordination with legislative, regulatory and certification bodies for their requirements and ensure compliance in providing corrective actions to non–conformities.
· In – charge of monitoring and renewals of Annual Maintenance Contracts such as Pest Control, Grease Trap, Fire Safety, Kitchen hood Cleaning and Maintenance and other related contracts.
· Conduct internal hygiene trainings.
· Any other task assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
· At least 2+ years’ UAE experience in the similar field.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Food Safety-related stream (Microbiology/Food Science & Technology)
· Experience in conducting training
· Excellent command of written and spoken English
· Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
