*Requirements:*
- Masters in Food Sciences
- 10 years of experience in FMCG/Food Industry [5 years’ experience in Managerial Position)
- Trained and certified in BRC [British Retail Consortium]
- Trained and certified in FSSC 22000 [Food Safety Systems Certification]
- Trained and certified in QMS - ISO 9001:2018.
- Trained and certified in HALAL PS3733.
*Responsibilities:*
Develops, implements, manages and control processes to ensure that Hotel Food & Beverage and Food Related Brand of the organization meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability.
Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters.
Communicates quality standards and parameters to Division Heads, HoDs, QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
Coordinates Food Items R&D testing processes to all relevant management and team members. Participates in product testing.
Involved In-line trials of New Product Development with Senior Management
Identifies and analyzes issues, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple food items & products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
Responsible to monitor the defined PRP's, ORP's, and CCP’s
Reviews members, customers, distributors and end-user feedback.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
Interact with other departments (Purchasing, R & D, and Production) for developmental initiatives and provide them necessary quality and Food Safety support.
Responsible to verify the quality & safety of raw materials & finished product during different stages of production.
Involve in new Packaging Development Process. Adjust existing packaging material according to the customers and market interest.
Responsible to verify artworks (i.e. Nutritional Information Panel, Ingredients list etc.) of various export consignments as per the regulation of the region.
Responsible to accept, hold & reject the incoming raw and packaging material based on defined quality standards.
Coordinates Non-conformance reporting to concerned departments.
Responsible for providing solutions to online raw and packaging material complaints.
Responsible for record keeping activities of documents of Raw & Packaging Material in accordance with HALAL Assurance.
Maintained quality standard reports of different products.
Training & Development of staff members on QMS, HACCP, HALAL and Food Safety Management System.
Documentation & Compliance related to Quality Management Systems and Food Safety Management Systems and certifications.
